# tenergy.dev > Got the tenergy.dev token? TEnergy is a smart TRON energy router with one API. Test on Nile, then redeem the token for 30 days at a 3 % router fee when you go live. tenergy.dev is the developer page of TEnergy (https://tenergy.me), a router for TRON energy: one API, and each order is bought from the cheapest connected provider that can fill it. The tenergy.dev token on the Nile testnet is a one-time promo code for a 3 % router fee instead of 5 % for 30 days on mainnet, starting the day the code is entered; it gives no free energy. ## Start here - [TEnergy llms.txt](https://tenergy.me/llms.txt): the API, the units and every document, for agents. - [Agent quickstart](https://tenergy.me/docs/agent-quickstart.md): from no account to a delegated order, with the operator prompt. - [API docs](https://tenergy.me/docs): authentication, orders, webhooks, SDKs (`@tenergy/sdk` for TypeScript, `tenergy` for Python). - [OpenAPI contract](https://tenergy.me/openapi.yaml) - [Compatible APIs](https://tenergy.me/compatibility): keep another energy service's request format and change only the base URL. - [Get the promo code](https://tenergy.me/redeem-dev): for wallets that received the tenergy.dev token on Nile. ## Nile testnet - TEnergy API on Nile: https://api-nile.tenergy.me/v1 - Test keys: ak_test_… — create them in the Nile dashboard - Faucet: nileex.io - Explorer: nile.tronscan.org - USDT on Nile: TXYZopYRdj2D9XRtbG411XZZ3kM5VkAeBf ## FAQ ### Why did I get the tenergy.dev token? Your wallet deployed or called a contract on the Nile testnet. We send the token once to wallets that build on TRON, so you know where to get energy when your app goes live. ### What does the token give me? A one-time promo code: 30 days at a 3 % router fee instead of 5 %. The 30 days start when you enter the code on the top-up page of your dashboard, so they cover your launch, not your test runs. The code stays valid for 90 days. The token itself gives no free energy. ### Can I test everything on Nile for free? Yes. Nile has its own TEnergy API address, account and keys, funded with test TRX from the public faucet, and nothing is charged. An order on Nile proves your integration works; mainnet prices are live on tenergy.me. ### What is the USDT contract address on Nile? TXYZopYRdj2D9XRtbG411XZZ3kM5VkAeBf. Test TRX comes from the faucet at nileex.io; transactions are on nile.tronscan.org. ### How much energy does a USDT transfer need? About 65,000 energy for a transfer to a wallet that already holds USDT; a first transfer to an empty wallet needs more. GET /v1/estimate answers the exact amount and price for a given receiver, without a key. ### I already use another energy provider. Do I have to rewrite my code? In most cases, no. For the services in the table we answer in their own API format: keep your requests and change only the base URL and the key. Otherwise our own API takes a few calls. ### Can my AI agent do the integration? Yes. Paste our prompt into Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT: it reads the docs and wires the calls in, on Nile first. Or connect our MCP server. Neither ever needs your private key. ### How is the router fee charged? As a percentage of the energy price in each order: 5 % by default and lower as your 30-day volume grows. With the token's code you pay 3 % for 30 days; if your volume already gives you less, the lower fee wins.
